We believe that God leads people to Himself, so we’re excited that you’re here.
Here are some things about us:
Waters Church was conceived in a pastoral prayer meeting on September 2, 2015. And though we have served NYC for over 15 years as a ministry (by a different name), that day God gave us His Word for our purpose and direction. Waters Church was then birth out of our desire to obey God's mandate for us.
Our Mission
To be the Waters of God to this generation. That is: by our living and conversations, we will bring refreshing to a thirsty world while reconnecting and reconciling lost sons and daughters back to the Father; and restoring what has been lost by the separation that sin has caused in all of us. Jesus is the Living Water and we are His waters to the world.
This message of Isaiah, the prophet, resonates with our mission as a local Church:
Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?”

We believe in the Bible, that Jesus is the Only Way to the Father and that we are called to impact and influence our world with the Gospel through making of leaders and developing disciples. Check out our full statement of faith here.

Lead and Founding PastorPastor Lemuel loves God and people. He also loves pastoring his family and Waters Church.
He’s been pastoring since 1998, starting at the young age of 22. You may hear some long time church partners call him, “Pastor Jones,” that’s because it’s his middle name.
You’re invited to get to know him! He loves spending time with his family and God’s people.

Sister Jennifer and Pastor Lemuel have been married since 2004. They have been blessed by God with their 4 children: Amber, Adinah, Alena, and Adam!
Sister Jennifer assists Pastor Lemuel with pastoring the Church, particularly leading our women’s ministry and children’s ministry; and intricately involved in the life of the church.
Jennifer loves meeting God’s people and encouraging them to continue in their walk with God! Don’t hesitate to say hello and get to know her for yourself.
